Election Day is Tuesday, November 7. Here’s how to cast your vote.
Vote by Mail
To vote by mail, you must submit a vote-by-mail application by October 31, at 5:00 p.m. Completed applications can be returned in person or via U.S. mail to the elections office at City Hall (562 Main St.)
For an absentee ballot, complete this application. Absentee ballot applications can be submitted via mail, fax, email, or delivered in-person to the elections office at City Hall. In-person voting by absentee ballot can be done at City Hall until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6.

Vote Early Beginning October 25
In-person early voting will take place in the elections office, located on the first floor of City Hall (562 Main St.), on the following dates:
Wednesday, October 25, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Friday, October 27, 1:00–5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 31, 1:00–5:00 p.m.
Vote In Person on Election Day
The polls are open on November 7, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. All Melrose wards and precincts will vote at the Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School gymnasium (90 Melrose Street entrance).
